Jakelin Caal Maquin was a seven year old Guatemalan girl, who died in Border Patrol custody on December 8th, 2018 of septic shock. She and her father were picked up on December 6 with 163 people near the Antelope Wells on the border of Mexico and New Mexico. CPB recorded on the I- 779 review form stating that Jakelin was not ill.
